The Corum Real Estate Group developed the Lake Creek Village affordable housing units in Vail Valley in 1993. The project created, at the time, the largest affordable housing community in the Valley, offering much-need housing options for the ski resort and tourism workforce. Lake Creek consists of garden-style apartments spread across 35 buildings, totaling to 270 units.
Serving as the property’s long-time property manager as well, Corum then went on to lead a recapitalization effort in 2012. The team retired existing bonds, secured funding from HUD, and invested additional funds for needed capital improvements. The community has maintained consistently high occupancy rates from initial development to today, thanks to our strong on-site management team and an attention to proactive maintenance.
