Archetype Distillery on South Broadway was a project that involved the repurposing and renovation of a former dance club and theater into a distillery and tasting room. The building, dating back to the early 1900’s, was riddled with construction challenges typical to period construction such as life safety hazards and non-compliant core construction.
Successfully leading the Ownership group through the City of Denver’s historical preservation processes and permitting, managing the selection of two separate Architecture teams, and identifying many specialty construction trades and interior consultants all fell within the Corum team’s scope. The project was ultimately completed in 2017 to wide community acclaim, earning awards for preservation, design, and construction.
