Jamie Fitzpatrick has 25 years of experience in the development, management and marketing of apartment communities, as well as office and industrial developments. He brings a wealth of experience in planning and developing complex projects within challenging time frames. One of Corum’s founders, Mr. Fitzpatrick is also a shareholder and member of the firm’s Board of Directors.
Since 1993, Mr. Fitzpatrick has directed most of Corum’s apartment portfolio with specialized projects that include Class A urban and suburban apartment communities and historic rehabilitations in the Denver Metropolitan area. Mr. Fitzpatrick has also overseen Corum's development of multi-million dollar employee housing projects in Colorado mountain resort communities including Vail, Aspen, Breckenridge, and Steamboat Springs.
Prior to joining Corum, Mr. Fitzpatrick was employed by a Texas real estate organization, and Nu West, Inc., a Canadian development firm. His background includes identifying sites, securing the financing and managing the development of large apartment communities in Colorado, Phoenix and Ohio and large office and industrial park projects in metro Denver and Colorado Springs, Colorado.
After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Bishop’s University in Montreal, Canada, Mr. Fitzpatrick completed a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Colorado, Denver. He has served as President of the Board of Directors of the Colorado Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks and currently serves on NAIOP’s National Capital Markets Forum. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and is co-chair of ULI's Workforce Housing Committee. He is President and Director of Lake Creek Affordable Housing Corporation, a member of the University of Colorado Real Estate Council Board of Governors, and past Chairman of the Downtown Denver Partnership’s Center City Housing Task Force.
