Mike Dorsey joined Corum Real Estate Group in May of 2004. He is responsible for creating and maintaining acquisition, development, conversion, repositioning, and sale analyses for office, industrial, apartment, and condominium projects. He produces in-depth offering memoranda and interacts directly with owners and lenders to ensure that loans and joint venture partnerships close in a timely manner. In addition, he handled all project management responsibilities for an 83-unit condominium conversion and continues to assist with project management as necessary.
Prior to joining Corum, Mr. Dorsey worked as a Credit Analyst for a Chicago bank. While there, he gained experience in the development and operation of office buildings, condominiums, apartments, industrial buildings, and hotels in a variety of nationwide markets through originating and maintaining commercial real estate secured loans of up to $65 million.
Mr. Dorsey graduated from The University of Notre Dame in 2001 with a major in Accounting and a minor in Finance. He received his Masters in Real Estate and Construction Management from The University of Denver in 2004.
Mr. Dorsey is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
