Doug Crowell has been with Corum for seven years and has been in the commercial building engineering field for over 25 years. Previously he was Chief Engineer for The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) and has also worked for Cushman and Wakefield of Colorado. He served in the U.S. Navy as a boiler technician.
Mr. Crowell is responsible for overseeing Corum's commercial properties. He assists both property managers and engineers with operational issues, as well as training, budgets, contracts and special projects. He is involved in due diligence inspections and evaluation of major equipment of Corum's properties, as well as potential new investments.
Mr. Crowell has received the Systems Maintenance Administrator (SMA) designation through BOMI and is a candidate for the Facilities Maintenance Administrator (FMA) designation. Additionally, he has a Stationary Engineers Certificate from the City and County of Denver, an Associates Degree from CCD in Denver, and an EPA Universal certificate. He has also created many of Corum’s commercial procedures and compliance manuals.
Mr. Crowell serves on the board of the Building Operators’ Association of Colorado. As a member of One DTC’s outstanding management team, he participated in the achievement of BOMA’s Building of the Year (TOBY) award in the local and regional competitions.
